The American Red Cross will hold a Blood Drive Wednesday, June 1st, Noon-5:45pm, at the American Legion Hall on U.S. 23 in Oscoda. To make an appointment or for more information visit Red Cross Blood Dot Org.
Tuesdays in June, July, August from noon to 4pm lighthouse tours will be given by members of the Friends of Tawas Point State Park and Lighthouse. Donations will be accepted and appreciated. Thurs - Mon scheduled aft tours are $5 adults, $2 children. The lighthouse is closed on Wed.
"Back To The Bricks" will take place Tuesday, June 12th, 5-8pm in East Tawas. The Mighty Mac & Back Car Cruise will begin at Shoreline Park on U.S. 23 in Tawas City and end on Newman Street for the three hour Car Show and Costume Party.
