Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

The Iosco County Historical Society presents the "Our Heritage" 2018 Lugene Daniels Lecture Series. On Wednesday, June 20th, 6:30pm History Instructor Joseph Oldenburg will present "Rumrunners In Michigan" in the Iosco County Historical Museum, 405 West Bay in East Tawas. The free presentation is sponsored by the Iosco Arenac District Library, Neiman's Market in Tawas City and KJC Country 104.7FM.
