Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

Alcona Knigts Fish Fry

The Alcona Council Knights of Columbus will host a Fish Fry Friday, August 10th, 5-7pm, at Maria Hall, adjacent to St. Anne's Catholic Church, at the corner of U.S. 23 & M-72 in Harrisville. Baked deep fried Pollock, baked potato, coleslaw, veggies, roll and dessert. All are welcome.

American Legion Post #370 Prescott Dinner

Heritage Days & Logging Expo

Heritage Days and Logging Expo will take place at the Oscoda County Fairgrounds between Mio and Fairview Friday, August 10th beginning at 2:30pm and Saturday, August 11th at 9am. Events include professional lumberjack show, amateur lumberjack competition, craft show, vendors, horse pulls and more. Admission is free, but donations accepted.

The 73rd Annual Hillman VJ Days will be held August 10th-12th. Events Friday include:

The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe
