Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

The Iosco County Historical Society "Our Heritage Lugene Daniels Lecture Series" presents "The Hello Girls" Wednesday, August 15th, 6:30pm at the Iosco County Historical Museum, 405 West Bay, East Tawas. Lois Keel tells the story of U.S. Army Telephone Operators. The free presentation is sponsored by the Iosco Arenac District Library, Neiman's Market in Tawas City and KJC Country 104.7FM.
