The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

November 17th, 2018 at Tawas Area High School. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 44th Annual Tawas Band Bazaar and Craft Show. Over 100 Vendor tables. No admission fee. Freshly baked apple dumplings for sale or buy frozen to take home for later. 50/50 raffles every hour. Live music. Everything home made or hand crafted.

Grant Township Firefighter Memorial Day will be held Saturday, October 20th:

 

10am-Silent Fire Parade around Sand Lake

11:30am-12:30pm-Memorial at grant Township Cemetery honoring Grant Township fallen Firefighters

1-3pm-Fireman's Famous Hamburgers. Donations will go to the Grant Township Memorial Fund.

Tawas Bay Art Gallery Class

The Tawas Bay Art Gallery will host the class "Alcohol Inks on Black Tile" Saturday, October 20th, 11am-3pm, at the Gallery, 302 Newman Street in East Tawas. Cost is $30 plus $6 for supplies. $10 deposit required. To register call 362-5613.

Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

A Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser will be held Saturday, October 20th, Noon-6pm, at the Clear Lake Bar, 2212 Clear Lake Road in West Branch. Cost is $8 per person with all proceeds to the Ogemaw Nature Park Game Refuge. Halloween In The Park

"Halloween In The Park" will be held Saturday, October 20th, at the AuGres City Park. Free activities from 3-6:30pm include rock wall, bounce house and obstacle course, games, haunted trail hayrides, face painting, exotic animal zoo and juggler. Pumpkin decorating $1, wood pumpkin painting $2, horse & pony rides $5. Trunk or Treat in the park from 6:45-8pm.

Comfort Food Dinner Buffet

From 4:00PM to 7:00PM

A Comfort Food Dinner Buffet will be held Saturday, October 20th, 4-7pm, with dinner music by Tom Barbret at Grace Lutheran Church, 401 Main Street in East Tawas. Cost is a free will offering.

3rd Annual Zombie Walk

From 5:00PM to 7:00PM

The entry for this event is food for the pantry at Whittemore/Prescott High School. Each person must bring a minimum of one food item. There are 4 age groups that will enter for best costume prizes. The Zombies will start at the fire hall at 5 pm and amble through town then back to the fire hall for costume judging and treats.

Quota's Trivia Night

Wycliffe Bible Translators Dinner
