Saganing Traditional Pow Wow

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s “Honoring Saganing Traditional Pow Wow” will be held:

 

Saturday, June 25th 11am-Dusk

Sunday, June 26th 11am-Dusk

 

Grand Entry at 1pm each day at the Pow Wow Reservation Grounds, next to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel on Worth Road in Standish. Native traders and food vendors and rustic camping available. Daily entry $3, weekend pass $5, kids $1.

Tawas Band Bazaar

November 17th, 2018 at Tawas Area High School. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 44th Annual Tawas Band Bazaar and Craft Show. Over 100 Vendor tables. No admission fee. Freshly baked apple dumplings for sale or buy frozen to take home for later. 50/50 raffles every hour. Live music. Everything home made or hand crafted.

Oscoda Red Cross Blood Drive

Quota's Trivia Night

Wycliffe Bible Translators Dinner

Come to a free dinner at the Holiday Inn at 810 Cinema Drive in Midland, MI on October 30, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. to hear how Wycliffe Bible Translators and God are working amid civil unrest, tribal wars, spiritual warfare and persecution to advance Bible translation through an initiative called "Tablets for National Translators" (TNTs), which places tablets in peoples hands for translation instead of having targets on their backs by carrying Bibles. The Tawas Community Concert Band, under the direction of Brian Carter will present their Fall Concert "It's Movie Time" Monday, October 22nd, 7:30pm, in the Tawas Area High School Gym on

M-55 in Tawas City. The concert is free, but donations accepted. An afterglow follows the concert.
