A Benefit Dinner & Auction will be held Saturday, March 9th, 2pm, at Lott Baptist Church on M-65 two miles south of Glennie. Sloppy joes, salads, desserts, auction, raffles and bake sale. Cost is by donation with proceeds will go to Kenny and Barb McMullen for medical expenses.
The 2nd Annual St. Patrick's Dinner will be held Saturday, March 9th, 4:30-7pm, at the American legion hall, 900 East Lincoln Street, East Tawas. Cost is $15 per person, children 5 and under free and includes corned beef & cabbage, shepherd's pie, bangors & mash, tossed salad, fresh baked rolls, dessert, coffee, tea and water. take outs available. The Sand Lake Heights Men's Association will host "Night At The Races" Video Horse Racing Saturday, March 9th at the Sand Lake Community Center. Happy Hour, BYOB, 5-6pm, dinner with country style spare ribs 6pm, races at 7pm. Admission is $20 which also includes $10 in funny money. Proceeds to the building fund.
