The Alcona FFA Chapter will host their 10th Annual Free "Maple Syrup Celebration Day" Saturday, March 16th, 9am-2pm, at the Sugar Shack, 51 North Barlow Road in Lincoln. Pancake & Sausage Breakfast served all day, tours of the Sugar Shack and small Animal exhibit.
The Project F.I.S.H. Workshop helps adults of all ages learn the essentials of how to teach youth about fishing. "Pasta With A Purpose" Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser will be held Saturday, March 16th, 6-8pm, at the Buckhorn Inn on M-55 at Plank Road in Tawas City. Live music by Easy Street and Silent auction. Dinner cost is $10, students $6, under six free and includes pasta, meatballs, mixed greens, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. Proceeds benefit the Heritage Coast Sailing and Rowing Sail program.
