Free Fishing Weekend, The Tawas Point State Park, 686 Tawas Beach Road, will host Explorer Guide Katie at the pond to the left of the pavilion Friday, June 8th, 6-8pm, as she will teach kids how to bait, hook For and release a fish. Under 17 do not need a fishing license. Poles and bait will be provided as well as prizes for first catch, biggest and smallest fish and most caught. A Recreation Passport will be needed for entry.
