The Glennie Lions Annual Rifle Raffle- is going on now thru Saturday, November 28th. The ticket booth is open every Friday & Saturday next to Rogers Family Foods in Glennie or from any Glennie Lions Club member. The Whittemore Speedway, M-65, Whittemore-, will host their Pumpkin Bash and Trunk Or Treat Saturday, October 17th! Trunk Or Treat for the kids  in the pit area from 3-5pm. Then grandstands open at 5:30pm, Pumpkin Bash at 7pm. Admission $15, kids 15 and under free if they attend Trunk Or Treat and are still wearing their costumes. Otherwise admission is $10 for kids. Ten entrepreneur finalists in two divisions, ages 10-17 and 18 and older will compete for a $1,000 1st prize and $400. 2nd prize money for start up funding.

Registration is open for the 4-H Underwater ROV Club-. Open to ages 12-19, members design and build a remotely operated vehicle to compete at the 2027 Marine Advanced Technology Education ROV Competition in Alpena.
